1) Jordana Matte lipstick in Pink Passion ($2) – I couldn’t find a true dupe of this lipstick but Pink Passion is a close alternative. It’s slightly lighter, cooler, and more satin than Please Me. It’s also less drying and more comfortable on the lips. There is a noticible difference but considering the lack of matte lipsticks in the drugstores, I was pretty pleased with Pink Passion. Jordana can be found at Walgreen, Duane Reade, Cherryculture.com, and more.

MAC Please Me is a “muted tinted rose pink” matte finish lipstick (source). It’s such a beautiful pink but the matte formula is too drying for my taste (preparation is definitely needed). It accentuates dryness of the lips so I wouldn’t recommend it for those who have dry, sensitive, or peeling lips.
